Registrations window is open as per the table above. 

-Please send an email to exams.external@bangalore.goethe.org with your request for exam registration. 

-The subject line should contain ONLY the level of the exam: E.g A1, A2, B1, B2, C1

-Candidates appearing for the Teil B1 exam should also mention the module they will be appearing for.

-Full name, date of birth, mobile number and City of residence should be mentioned in the body of the email.

-Emails will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Emails not confirming to the above requirements will not be processed.

-There are limited seats on offer. A confirmation mail and further procedure for the payment of fees will be sent by the dates mentioned above. Sending an email request does     not guarantee a seat..

-If the slots for your preferred dates get over, we will allot the next available date.

-Only emails received within the registration window will be processed.

-One email is required per person. Multiple persons cannot register with one email. Multiple mails requests from the same person will not be considered.

-Do not send general queries to this address. General and further queries should be sent to german.exams@bangalore.goethe.org

-This process is applicable for candidates, in and outside Bangalore.

-The candidates who are outside Bangalore should mention it specifically in the email.

The number of available seats and  examination dates are indicative only.  We reserve the right to change or modify the number of available seats and/or examination dates without notice, due to internal scheduling or administrative reasons.

Start Deutsch A1
Can understand and use familiar, everyday expressions and very simple sentences, which relate to the satisfying of concrete needs. Can introduce him/herself and others as well as ask others about themselves – e.g. where they live, who they know and what they own – and can respond to questions of this nature. Can communicate in a simple manner if the person they are speaking to speaks slowly and clearly and is willing to help.

Start Deutsch B1

Can report on experiences and events, describe dreams, hopes and goals as well as make short statements to justify or explain his/her own views and plans.

Start Deutsch B2
Can understand the main contents of complex texts on concrete and abstract topics; also understands specialized discussions in his/her own primary area of specialization. Can communicate so spontaneously and fluently that a normal conversation with native speakers is easily possible without a great deal of effort on either side. Can express him/herself on a wide range of topics in a clear and detailed manner, explain his/her position on a current issue and indicate the benefits and drawbacks of various options.

Start Deutsch C1
Can understand a wide range of challenging, longer texts and also grasp implicit meanings. Can express him/herself spontaneously and fluently without having to search for words frequently and noticeably. Can use the language effectively and flexibly in his/her social and professional life or in training and studies. Can make clear, structured and detailed statements on complex topics and apply various means of text association appropriately in the process.
Start Deutsch C2
Can effortlessly understand practically everything which he/she reads or hears. Can summarize information from various written and spoken sources, logically recounting the reasons and explanations. Can express him/herself spontaneously with high fluency and precision and also make finer nuances of meaning clear in more complex topics.
